About Me

Experienced teacher. Supportive tutor.

My teaching journey started when I graduated from the University of East Anglia with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics in 2009. After completing my PGCE in Secondary Mathematics in 2010, I began teaching at a large, successful comprehensive school in Norfolk.

During this time, I taught Maths to all ages and abilities (year 7 through to A-Level) and led whole school numeracy initiatives. I had great relationships with my classes and thoroughly enjoyed teaching and often learning from the students I taught!

Despite my passion for teaching, a lack of autonomy in the classroom and a desire to provide educational opportunities outside of the traditional classroom setting ultimately led to my decision to leave the career.

In 2018, I launched ASF Tutoring, and by 2020, I was working full-time on my business.

I've since enjoyed working with many amazing young people from the UK and beyond. I've worked with adult learners, enabling them to achieve their Maths GCSEs and progress in their careers. Now, I specialise in delivering Maths education to individuals and small groups of students in an online setting.
